Ticmoxy BD (Dry Syrup) – A Combination of Amoxycillin & Potassium Clavulanic Acid

Biotic Healthcare provides Ticmoxy BD dry syrup which contains a combination of two antibiotic ingredients - Amoxycillin 200 mg & Clavulanic Acid 28.5 mg per 5 ml. This dry syrup works effectively against certain bacterial infections such as ear infections, urinary tract infection, respiratory tract infections and other infections related to lungs, sinus, and skin. This combination of antibiotics fights against bacteria by inhibiting the multiplication of bacteria in the human body.

Amoxycillin comes under a group of medications referred as penicillin-type antibiotics. To fight against bacteria is the primary function of Amoxycillin. However, Potassium Clavulanic acid is also similar to penicillin, but it fights against bacteria that is often resistant to Amoxycillin & other penicillin-type antibiotics.

This combination of antibiotic medications comes as a dry syrup (a liquid suspension for oral administration) to take by mouth. We don’t recommend Ticmoxy BD dry syrup to those who have liver disease, kidney disease, or have a history of hepatitis or jaundice, or even allergic to Amoxycillin & Clavulanic, and others antibiotics.
