TicMoxy-CL: Combination of Amoxycillin & Potassium Clavulanate Tablets
Biotic Healthcare offers ticmoxy-CL tablets which is combined with amoxycillin and potassium clavulanate salts. These salts are mainly used to treat or prevent various severe infections caused by bacteria, like ear infections, skin infections, sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, and urinary tract infections.
Amoxycillin and potassium clavulanate is an antibiotic drug which belongs to the penicillin group of drugs that help in treating certain bacterial infections and stomach ulcers (which is caused by H. Pylori infection). But make sure never use ticmoxy tablet, if you are allergic to any penicillin antibiotic, like ampicillin, dicloxacillin, oxacillin, penicillin, or ticarcillin, because it may cause severe side effects like asthma, kidney or liver disease, mononucleosis, food or drug allergies.
Other uses for this Drug
The combination of amoxycillin and potassium clavulanate acid can also be used to treat some sexually transmitted diseases(STD). But consult your doctor or pharmacist about the risk of using ticmoxy for your condition.
Warnings and Precautions
TicMoxy tablet is contraindicated in patients who have a history of serious hypersensitivity reactions (like anaphylaxis or Stevens-Johnson syndrome) to amoxicillin, clavulanate or to other beta-lactam antibacterial medicines (like penicillins and cephalosporins).
Storage Condition
Store ticmoxy-CL tablets at room temperature and in an airtight container and keep away from kid sights, pets and direct light and heat.
