Ofloxacin belongs to the quinolone antibiotics class of medicines that treats bacterial infections in the body. Ofloxacin is an antibacterial medication used for the treatment of bacterial infections occurring on the skin, lungs, prostate, urinary tract, and also treats certain diseases such as pelvic inflammation, Chlamydia, gonorrhea, etc. It functions by preventing the growth of bacteria and killing them.

Dosage:
Ofloxacin is an oral suspension to be taken with or without food. Drink a lot of water and other fluids with this medicine. Precautions:

1. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Ofloxacin or any product of fluoroquinolones.

8. Ofloxacin oral suspension should be used carefully as the fluoroquinolones antibiotics might cause irreversible damage to the body (majorly to the tendons).
