Cefuroxime Axetil for Oral Suspension USP
Biotic Healthcare presents Cefzol-125 in oral suspension form of 30 ml packing for treating bacterial infections in kids.
Cefuroxime is an antibiotic medication known as a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It helps in treating bacterial infections by stopping their further growth.

Dosage:

This oral medication has to be taken with a spoon or cup twice daily with food. The actual dose of the medicine will be as prescribed by the doctor based on the patient's medical condition and weight as well in the case of kids. It is advised to take medicine at the same time daily to maintain an even space between each dose. 

Precautions:

1. It is an antibacterial medication and thus should not be used against viral infections.
2. Do not use it unnecessarily as this will make it less effective for future administration.
3. Continue taking the dose until the prescribed amount is finished.
4. Do not discontinue early as and when symptoms disappear, continue the medication otherwise bacteria can start growing again.
5. If symptoms persist even after regular consumption, then consult your doctor. 
6. While taking a prescription, clarify with the doctor about any medical history or allergies you have.

Side Effects:

Some of the common side effects of this medication may be:

1. vomiting
2. nausea
3. diarrhea
4. stomach pain
5. strange taste in the mouth

If any of these side effects persist for a longer duration or become severe then consult your doctor and get treatment. 
The patient may observe other symptoms such as dizziness, tiredness, abdominal pain, yellowish eye or skin, change in urine color or amount, or any other new infection. These are rare side effects but if these happen, immediately consult your doctor.
